Location-based services probably will become popular in the future. Yahoo also takes part into this area after the official launch service Fire Eagle.Fire Eagle service, which was still in the testing phase (beta). Eagle Fire allows users to announce the location for the next used on the service other Web sites. For example, a user can use a phone to update the location real time. Location information then can be displayed on social networking sites like Facebook or in the user’s blog.
Jason Kincaid, web technology, observers from TechCrunch, said the concern is that one of these services is not the standard way for users to delete the ‘impressions’ on the geographical distribution of different services that utilize Fire Eagle. For the latest location, users have full control and are not recorded by Yahoo. However, in the service of partners that will be recorded and displayed continuously.
According to Kincaid, Fire Eagle service will become popular because it is relatively easy to use and can log in using the existing Yahoo. Some parties have been working with the Yahoo service in this blog services including Moveable Type, from Six Apart, Loki (to update the profile location to service Twitter and Facebook), Dopplr service and more.
