Peacock, yes it is wonderful ornament bird with brilliant blue and green plumage and elongated upper tail coverts (a magnificent green and gold erectile train adorned with blue-green “eyes”). This gorgeous peacock which is native to Southern Asia and also found in Africa has attracted people for many years especially for its plumage or feathers (Formerly they were served for dinner esp. in Egyptian pharaoh and Romans centuries).
Nowadays, Peacocks are commonly kept and bred as a hobby and business around homes and game bird farm. And most people take their feathers for a variety of decorative uses as they have a variety of colors and sparkling with the angle of incident light. The beautiful feathers look great for home decor placed in a vase by standing alone or in combination with long dried reeds. Not only that, the feathers also can be used as material for customs, head dresses, peacock feathers shawl, lady mask, fancy apparel, feather fans, craft and jewelry like earring, pendant, and necklace.
