Nanotechnology is expected to spur development of new methods of therapy. For example, there is some new form of therapy may be possible with the use of nanoparticle. A team of researchers from Rice University has successfully test handling cancer using nanoparticle size of about 120 nm to kill cancer cells. Nanoparticle formed as gold particles that are wrapped by peptide or antibodies on the surface. Once inserted into the body, peptide antibody will bring gold particles attached to the cancer cells.
