Super Speed USB 3.0

The technology of USB 3.0 claimed speed of 10x USB2.0 (4.8 Gbps). It means the file size of 27GB will be completely copied within 70 seconds. It is interesting, this USB 3.0 point to distinguish the upload and download. This means, we can make a copy and write simultaneously without slowing the speed. In addition, USB 3.0 has greater power (up to 900 milliamps) so that more devices can be rechargeable (charge) more quickly. Of course, this USB 3.0 will be fully compatible with previous devices that promote the USB 2.0 and USB 1.1/1.0.

The only one that may be disappointing is the USB 3.0 cable is slightly thicker similar as Ethernet cable. USB 3.0 will come in various shapes and sizes, including mini-connector, and is predicted to become a de facto solution for mobile phones and portable devices. Unfortunately, we still have to be patient because USB 3.0 controller will be mass-produced in the middle of 2009. USB 3.0 product is estimated to implement in early 2010.
